| Directions to our meeting place: Take 190 (east from Copperas Cove or west from Killeen) to the Clark Street exit. Turn south on Clark Street, and pass through the check-point onto West Fort Hood. Make the first left past the well-lit Shopette on your left, and another immediate left into the parking lot of a small brown building (The Montague Community Life Building). This area is well lit and only a short distance once you pass the checkpoint, so there's no worry of getting lost! |
| Driver's License: A licensed driver can obtain a Texas Driver's License for $20 at the Visitor Control Center near the main gate. The cost is $20, and there's an ATM machine nearby in case you forget to bring cash. New drivers can also apply for their license and be tested at this same location. |
| Vehicle Registration for Fort Hood: Fort Hood vehicle registration stickers for the windshield of your car can be obtained at the Visitor Control Center near the main gate. You will need your military ID, vehicle registration and proof of insurance. |
